These crispy, delicious chickpeas make a simple healthy snack on their own or add a little crunch to your salad or power bowl.

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 425 and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the chickpeas evenly on the lined baking sheet and bake them in the oven for 10 minutes to dry them out.
Take them out of the oven, carefully put them in a mixing bowl and toss with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper until well coated.
Spread them back on the baking sheet and cook for another 10 – 15 minutes until they are golden and a bit crunchy. Remove and let cool slightly before enjoying them.
TIPS & NUTRITION
Chickpeas are high in plant based protein, iron and fibre.
You can change up the flavour by adding different spices like chili powder or cumin.
These are best enjoyed the same day they’re made. You can store them in an airtight container for up to 24 hours but they will begin to lose their crispness.
