Your beautiful body already knows how to naturally detox everyday. Your liver, kidneys and digestive tract are made to help remove toxins and waste, but sometimes they get bogged down with food, alcohol and environmental factors.
The good news is you can support them without doing anything drastic. Adding in naturally detoxing foods, like the ones listed below, will help get them back on track.
Chop it up and add it to sauces, soups and salad dressings.
Make oatmeal for breakfast or use them in homemade granola or energy bites. Choose steel cut or rolled oats for the most nutrition – quick cooking or flavoured packages are more processed.
Sprinkle them lightly on your salad or power bowl – they’re salty, but very low in sodium, so don’t overdo it. Find them in your local health food store.
Add it to soups, sauces, make a turmeric latte or sprinkle it in your smoothie.
Snack on 2-3 a day.
