Fresh blood orange juice is the star of this simple vinaigrette that’s delicious on any of your favourite salads.
Enjoy.
INGREDIENTS
- juice from 1 medium size blood orange
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- fresh ground sea salt to taste
METHOD
In a medium size bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
This will keep well in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days – just give it a good shake or stir before adding it to your salad.
TIPS & NUTRITION
Making your own salad dressing is one of the healthiest things you can do. Store bought dressings often use preservatives, cheap oils and added sugars.
I love this dressing on a simple kale salad with blueberries, hemp seeds and walnuts.
